01 Are you a Community Radio Station?
Although #TeamWCFM has been advocating community upliftment for the past 8 years, and we consider the community in all our endeavours. West Coast FM is a Commercial Radio Station and we are standing 17 team members strong.
02 Is West Coast FM a Local Radio Station?
West Coast FM is a proudly local Radio Station at the West Coast of Namibia. Our coverage includes: Swakopmund, Walvis Bay, Arandis and Henties Bay. Read more
03 How can one advertise on WCFM?

04 Where is WCFM allocated?
West Coast FM is conveniently situated in the heart of Swakopmund. Our physical address is Unit F1A, The Dome, Welwitchia Road, Swakopmund.

05 In which areas does WCFM have reception?
West Coast FM currently has reception at the Coast of Namibia: Swakopmund, Walvis Bay, Arandis and Henties Bay. The vision for the station is to take WCFM inland and to eventually become a National Radio Station.

Terms and Conditions
Competitions

One listener is entitled to winning one prize in a period of thirty (30) days

Vouchers must be collected at the WCFM Studio before winners can claim their prize

Vouchers will only be given to winners who produce a valid ID document

The outcome of the competition is subject to the decision of the judge, presenter or organiser of the competition, whose decision is final, and no negotiations and or correspondence will be entered into after the fact

West Coast FM reserve the right to redistribute all unclaimed prizes if not claimed after one month after being given away on air or on West Coast FM’s website or Social Media

Prizes may not be exchanged for cash or any other prize, nor are they transferable

No employees and immediate family of West Coast FM nor their PR or advertising agents are allowed to participate

West Coast FM reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel and/or suspend any competition
Payments
-
All sales of 1 (one) to 5 (five) months strictly COD
-
All contracts 6 months and longer invoiced in advance on a 30 day basis
-
50% Deposit required to secure bookings of Outside Broadcasts, 50% to be paid one week prior Service Rendered
-
2.5% interest will be added per month on late payments
-
3 months non-payment will result in the account being handed over for legal action
-
All pricing excludes agents commission & VAT unless otherwise negotiated with WCFM Management
Cancellation Policy
A percentage of the invoice will be charged as a cancellation fee:

25% – If cancelled 3 weeks prior to event
-
50% – If cancelled 2 weeks prior
-
100% -If cancelled within 1 week prior
